As per reports, women who are obese are at far more risk of developing symptoms of PCOS. Here are the symptoms of PCOS-
abnormal menstruation
absence of menstruation
heavy menstruation
irregular menstruation
short and light menstruation or spotting
Obesity
Overweight
Or weight gain
Some more symptoms also include- infertility, acne, dark patches of skin in folds and creases, depression, inappropriate male features, loss of scalp hair, oily skin, or unwanted hair

According to scientific definition, PCOS is associated with high rates of glucose intolerance resulting from defects in insulin action and β-cell function in the body. Women suffering from Obesity are also at higher risk of PCOS. Moreover, Obesity substantially exacerbates defects of PCOS so obese reproductive-age women with PCOS are at very high rates of glucose intolerance.
