Imanvi aka Iman Esmail: Prabhas is ready to return to screen as a romantic hero again. This time it is not a popular actor he will be romancing but a debutant who is a dancer and content creator primarily. Her name is Imanvi, also known as Iman Esmail. Imanvi is the female lead in Prabhas’ upcoming historical drama tentatively titled to be ‘Fauji’, helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi. This is all we know about her.

Who is Imanvi, Prabhas’s new co-star?  

Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi (famed for Sita Raman) announced their upcoming movie with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. The internet was quick to notice the new face of Imanvi, and since then has been curious about her.

Imanvi is a self-taught dancer and content creator boasting of a followers base with 836k on Instagram and 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube. She rose to fame after her choreography video on the song Ramta Jogi from Taal went viral on the gram in 2020, followed by her moves on Tum Tum from Enemy in 2023.

Born in Delhi, Imanvi’s parents moved to Carlifornia while she was still young, and since then she has been residing in Los Angeles. According to a DNA report, she has her roots in Karachi, Pakistan with her father serving as a Pakistani Army Officer before relocating to California.

Beyond her dance, she has also acted in a short film called Being Sa-rah as the titular lead.  

Imanvi’s film debut 

The debutant actor, seasoned dancer and content creator started attracting acting opportunities after her viral videos. She landed a role next to the Kalki 2898 AD star for her silver screen debut. The official synopsis for the film reads: “Not every historical event resonates with our emotions and thoughts, but this story is written by a warrior to bring justice to people of his Mother Land. This historical fiction/alternate history set in the 1940’s is the tale of a warrior who rose from the shadows, emerging from a society that believed war was the only answer to the buried injustices and forgotten truths that history kept hidden from the world.”
