World Economic Forum 2024: This year, the 54th annual sit-in of the World Economic Forum is taking place between 15th to 19th January 2024 in Davos, which will see world-famous politicians and businessmen talk and discuss major global issues including geopolitical, inflation, climate change and artificial intelligence. The WEF 2024 has more for India, as Minority Affairs and Former Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani will be representing India at the event.
This year’s theme is ‘Rebuilding Trust’ due to the supply chain problems that are emerging due to the ongoing issues between Israel and Gaza. The theme also includes security, support, creating jobs, long-term development for nature and energy, and creating a long-term strategy. As the world’s fastest-growing economy, India will try to attract global investors ahead of becoming a $5 trillion economy in the next few years, achieving the status of a developed nation by 2047. Along with this, India will target companies that are looking towards other economic institutions, other than China, through the World Economic Forum.
