Trump Plans to Impose Tariff in India

President Trump has already floated the subject of slapping additional taxes on American two-wheeler imports into India. The general budget proposes lowering the customs charge on two-wheelers with engines larger than 1,600 cc capacity from 50 to 40 percent, as well as the duty on imported semi-knocked down two-wheeler kits from 25 to 20 percent. American companies, such as Harley Davidson, are projected to benefit the most from this.
