XAT Preparation Strategy and Tips: Most of us while preparing for our exams, be it our school annual exams or be it any competitive exam, need to know what is important for us to prepare. So before moving forward, let’s first know more about what XAT exam is. Well, XAT is a national-level management entrance exam conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur to secure admissions into MBA/PGDM programmes. This test is accepted at XLRI, 10 other XAMI and other 700 business colleges for admissions to their post-graduate management programmes.
After getting much overview of the exam, let’s head towards how to prepare for the exam. While sharing the basic preparation strategy, Urvish shares that on an average, it takes almost 14 to 18 months to prepare for the exam properly. It is further shared Verbal Ability is one of the most difficult section of the exam, and one can ace the preparations for this section by reading a lot of books. Secondly, Decision making is another difficult section after Verbal Ability, which can be aced by giving a lot of mock tests or previous year tests. If a person isn’t enrolled in any coaching institute for preparations, then one should focus more on solving the mock tests as it gives you an insight about where do you stand in your preparations and which part you should focus more on.
