Yuvraj Singh Biopic: T-Series confirmed the making of Yuvraj Singh biopic on Tuesday via a X post. The movie would chronicle his life on and off the field as a prominent Indian cricket star, a resilient and determined cancer survivor and surely his popular love story with Hazel Keech, the love of his life.

A celebrated cricketer in India with a global reputation of a winner, Yuvraj Singh retired from International cricket in 2019. After 5 years, there is big news for his fans, that his life will soon be shown on celluloid and screen in movie theaters. T-Series tweeted photos of the cricketer with the maker writing “Relive the legend's journey from the pitch to the heart of millions—Yuvraj Singh's story of grit and glory is coming soon on the big screen!” 

The caption continues with a hashtag SixSixes alluding to the career-defining moment of six sixes in six balls by Yuvrah against England bowler Stuart Broad during India’s 2007 T20 World Cup bringing the country close to victory in the triumphant campaign. 

The movie is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Ravi Bhagchandka. The former is also credited to back the documentary on cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, “Sachin: A Billion Dreams.”

The title, star cast and other deets about the film are yet-to-be decided, however the man himself is excited for the film. Talking about his biopic Yuvraj said, “I am deeply honored that my story will be showcased to millions of my fans across the globe by Bhushan-ji and Ravi. Cricket has been my greatest love and source of strength through all the highs and lows. I hope this film inspires others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams with unwavering passion”

The esteemed and inspiring journey of Yuvraj Singh aims to allow his fans a glimpse into the person he is, his love for cricket and his battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 that he battled in the subsequent year and returned to cricket.

Fans are eagerly looking forward to the film with high hopes and anticipation. Some even are expecting it to be like “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” telling the story of Thala of Indian cricket.
