Zulu's New King: Indian Carpenter Holds Order of King's Throne

Recently, Misijulu has become the new king of Zulu. An Indian-origin furniture maker in South Africa has put two throne orders on hold due to non-payment of dues from the royal family's previous orders.

On Saturday, Gelithini of Misizulu was declared the new king of South Africa. It was the first time since 1971 that a Zulu King was crowned by the country's government. He was also formally declared the head of the influential royal power of South Africa. On this occasion a throne made of rare Tumbuti wood was to be handed over to him but the king has not yet got his throne. Two thrones were to be built for the king. 

Rajiv Singh's family specializes in making this rare wooden furniture. Rajeev says that the king's father, Goodwill Gelithini, was given this wooden throne seven years ago by making him on his behalf. But even after many promises, their payment has not been done. In such a situation, the throne of the new king has also been stopped.

Rajiv Singh said, 'I have not designed anything. I am so disappointed and his family has not given our money yet. We have repeatedly requested them but have not received the amount yet. I also told their representative about the payment. She said that she will find out what happened to the payment.
