ALT Balaji head Ekta Kapoor is in highlights for her recent LGBT-themed love stories which are streaming on the OTT platform.  Her new shows will unfurl the same-sex relationships while proving that Love is Love. Her recently released show, The Married Woman got accolades for the storyline and beautiful representation of same-gender love. Now her upcoming show His Storyy is also getting all the attention and people are praising Ekta Kapoor for bringing the less talked love stories who are often criticised or are not acceptable due to the orthodox mindset of society. Ekta Kapoor thanked everyone for her positive response and asked for normalizing these love stories. 

Ekta Kapoor on Releasing LGBT shows

Ekta Kapoor has brought up two same-sex love stories titled ‘The Married Woman’ and ‘His Storyy’, within two months and people are eulogising her for bringing on the screen the less talked LGBT love stories and normalizing them the love between the same gender. 

Ekta Kapoor took to her Twitter and showed her gratitude towards the love of people which they are showering on these series and wrote, “This is for everyone who has been asking me why we are releasing two same gender love stories in a span of two months. To them, I would like to say that we do millions of opposite-sex love stories & no one asks that. “

She uploaded a video in which she showed the response from people and media on her show. 





Her recently released show ‘A Married Woman’ stars Monica Dogra and Riddhi Dogra talkies about the love story between two women while her another show His Storyy will bring the love story of two men.

 

Let us tell you that her show His Storyy also caught controversy due to its poster. The poster was accused of plagiarism and the makers later pulled down all the posters from the digital platform and apologised for the same.
