BMW India has launched the new generation of X1 here which competes with the likes of Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. It is available in petrol and a diesel powertrain and has two variants - X Line and M Sport. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
There are two engine choices for the X1 of the future. The 2.0 litre, four-cylinder diesel engine provides 150 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque, compared to the 1.5 litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine's 136 horsepower and 230 pound-feet. Across the board, a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission is standard. A vertically stacked wireless charger, a floating armrest on the centre console, and an interior with a curved display with the touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument dashboard are all included in the model. The X1 can accommodate five people in its seats. The model is available in Alpine White, Space Silver, Phytonic Blue, Black Sapphire, and Portimao Blue.
