Adesh Gupta Resigns: BJP President Adesh Gupta resigns after defeat in Delhi MCD Election

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has been ruling the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for the last 15 years, has been wiped out. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured a majority in the results of the MCD elections held on December 7. Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta has resigned from his post today i.e. on Sunday due to the defeat in MCD. Gupta resigned and took responsibility for the defeat in the MCD elections. According to the information, Adesh Gupta has submitted his resignation to BJP National President JP Nadda. Nadda has accepted his resignation.

New BJP president

After the BJP's defeat in the MCD elections, Adesh Gupta has taken full responsibility on his head. Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta resigned from his post on Sunday, taking responsibility for the defeat. Now Virendra Sachdeva has been made the working president of Delhi BJP in place of Adesh Gupta. Sources have given information about this. Delhi BJP State Vice President Virendra Sachdeva is appointed as Acting State President till further notice. This appointment will come into force with immediate effect.
