Afghanistan's Faizabad, located 82 kilometres southeast, experienced a magnitude 4.0 earthquake. This information was provided by the National Center for Seismology. Despite the fact that there have been no reports of casualties or damage as a result of the earthquake, the locals were still startled. This earthquake was the second to occur in Afghanistan in a single day.
Strong earthquake sensations were felt in Faizabad, Afghanistan, even before February 26. The earthquake had a magnitude of 6.8. The tremor struck at 6:07 in the morning. Faizabad was 265 kilometres from its centre. On Wednesday, NCS tweeted, "According to Indian time, this earthquake happened on Tuesday night at 23:47:05. On February 28, the intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was 4.0. Location: 82 kilometres southeast of Faizabad, Afghanistan, Latitude: 36.53 and Longitude: 71.15, Depth: 10 kilometres.
