Alpha Release Date: YRF Announces Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Starrer Upcoming Movie Release on Christmas

Alpha Movie Release: One of the most anticipated upcoming Bollywood movies, ‘Alpha’ has finally been locked in for its release next year. The movie has already created a lot of buzz due to its compelling storyline, stellar cast, and action-packed genre. While fans were already excited to witness the new pair of bold and beautiful Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, Yash Raj Films (YRF) recently announced the release date of the movie, and fans couldn’t hold back their enthusiasm to watch the first female-led YRF spy universe movie in theatres. The production house took to social media to announce the release of the film, with both Alia and Sharvari portraying never-before-seen characters in the movie. 

Alpha Movie Release Date

The film ‘Alpha’, which will be part of the YRF Spy Universe, will be released in theaters globally on December 25, 2025. Apart from this, the film has already achieved a huge milestone as the first female-led version in the franchise. Alpha promises to be an exciting spy thriller, with Alia and Sharvari portraying spies navigating a world of mystery and danger. The film showcases their abilities in a high-stakes atmosphere full of violent action and fascinating plot twists. In its announcement, YRF wrote, “On Christmas 2025, #ALPHA will rise! Get ready for an action-packed holiday… 25th Dec, 2025.”

YRF Spy Universe Films

Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, will be the seventh installment in Yash Raj Films' spy universe, which began with the Tiger franchise starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The first film was ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, followed by ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Tiger 3’. The franchise will continue with Ayan Mukerji’s ‘War 2’, ‘Pathaan 2’, and ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari are currently the leading actresses of Bollywood. While Alia was last seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, she will be playing the part of the protecting sister in her upcoming film ‘Jigra’ alongside Vedang Raina. Meanwhile, Sharvari was last seen in Vedaa, which also stars John Abraham and Tamannaah in major roles.
