Yo Yo Honey Singh:  A pioneer figure with a tall stature in the Indian rap and music scene, Yo Yo Honey Singh is the inspiration behind some of the most popular artists from India today. From the global icon Diljit Dosanjh to Punjabi music sensation, Gippi Grewal, they all started their musical career with Honey Singh, at the time his career was picking up the pace, and today their exponential scale has surpassed that of Honey Singh, and yet he remains an unshakeable part of the Indian rap music scene. 

Honey Singh remains a towering figure in Indian pop culture, with emerging artists like Paradox also calling him their inspiration.

Badshah 

Many know the ongoing feud between Badshah and Honey Singh, but did you know that Honey Singh was the one to suggest the former change his stage name to Badshah from ‘Cool Equal’? The two started strong with their rap group called, ‘Mafia Mundeer’. 

Since the start the two were close knits, however following the allegations of Singh over Badshah they two have been on sour terms. 

Paradox 

Hustle 2.0 famed rapper Pradox, real name Tansihq Singh, considers Honey Singh to be an inspiration, hero, and mentor. The two recently collaborated on the hit single ‘Payal’ which has amassed massive fame and went viral on social media. In a recent interview, he also underscored how his attention to his music is a gigantic thing for him, and brought him into the limelight of the hip-hop scene.

The Punjabi singer and actor has been working in the industry long before his collaboration with Honey Singh for the 2011 song ‘Angreji Beats’. The song made him and Singh a global hit with popularity pouring to all the corners of the Bollywood industry as well. 

Diljit Dosanjh 

A global pop icon in the music scene, Diljit Dosanjh’s popularity picked pace in 2009 with his collaboration with Honey Singh for the album ‘The Next Level’. Dosanjh today is a global phenomenon surpassing the heights of Singh, but their brotherly bond continues to warm the hearts of their fans.
