Arvind Kejriwal was not invited for the oath ceremony of Karnataka Chief Minister

19 May, 2023

Following the stunning victory in Karnataka, the Congress Party has also resolved the CM issue. DK Shivakumar would be appointed Deputy Chief Minister if Siddaramaiah takes the oath of office on May 20. The Congress will promote the swearing-in ceremony as an act of opposition unity, buoyed by the significant victory ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

All of the major opposition leaders and parties have received invites for this. Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the AAP, was not invited despite recently declaring his support for the opposition after meeting Nitish Kumar. Following this, the phase of speculative activity has begun. Political analysts have begun to investigate its purpose and motivation.
