Bench Life: Aakanksha Singh Talks About Uncertainty of Jobs Through Her Latest Series

Bench Life: Bench Life is the latest series streaming on SonyLiv on 12 September. Akanksha Singh plays the lead role of a strong head Isha along with Ritika Singh, Vaibha Reddy, and Rajendra Prasad. Talking about her latest series, the actor opens up about her experience filming corporate employees, and the things she learned and discovered for the first time. 

Similarities between her and her character 

Akanksha who experiences the realities of corporate employees for the first time through her series shared that her character Isha has similar work ethics and leadership qualities to Akanksha. She got familiar with the meaning of ‘bench’ i.e., a group of employees who are not working on a billable project for a period of time, for the first time through the series. Asked to draw a comparison between her job as an actor and that of Isha she remarked on the difference in work formats that make them very different.
