Bollywood This Week: There is a wave of excitement among the fans as the film industry is all set to end the year 2023 with a blast. With an interesting line up of blockbuster movies, including action, thriller, adventure and romance, this week has been a hamper of good news for fans. Starting from the big news, we have Ranbir Kapoor mesmerising fans with his brutal and fierce character in upcoming Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, with an action-packed trailer with themes of violence, emotions, and relationship troubles. Apart from this, we will also talk about “Bollywood BFF” Orry’s surprising wild card entry in the currently airing reality show Bigg Boss Season 17, where host Salman Khan asks about the universal question “Who is Orry?” This week also gave us another Koffee With Karan episode where KJo’s students Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra talked about their married life, trolled Karan, and spilled the beans about their early days.

Animal Trailer Release
The makers of ‘Animal’ released the trailer of the film which has received a positive response from the fans. Ranbir Kapoor is winning hearts with his intense and maniac character giving us major daddy issues. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, among others. The 3-and-a-half-minute trailer shared glimpses of how Ranbir’s character is purely devoted to protecting his father and vows to kill those who attacked him. The movie is also based on the toxic and disturbing behaviour of Anil Kapoor’s character (Ranbir Kapoor’s father) towards the young Ranbir, which led to his impatient and psychopathic demenour when he grew up. The movie is set to release on December 1st and will clash with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’.
Dunki ‘Drop 2’
After creating a storm at the box office with ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to big screens with his upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ directed by Rajkumar Hirani, starring SRK alongside Tapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, among others. Recently, Dunki ‘Drop 2’ was released featuring the first song of the movie “Lutt Putt Gaya,” a romantic number starring SRK and Taapsee. With fresh and dreamy music, Hardy (SRK) looks so much in love with Manu (Taapsee), as he expresses his feelings by dancing his heart out in front of the entire village. Being the King of Romance he is, SRK has completely transferred the essence of love in his performance. Talking about the movie, the makers unveiled a teaser of the film titled ‘Dunki Drop 1’, and it is set to release in theatres on 22nd December.
Varun-Sid in Koffee With Karan 8
In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 8, KJo welcomed the boys of ‘Student of The Year’ Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. The dynamic duo uplifted the mood of viewers with fun banter and spicy revelations about their friendship, married life, and a goofy rapid-fire round. In the promo video, we saw Varun saying that they’ve been warned not to bring up a controversial statement to avoid getting highlighted, the actors were candidly hilarious which made the episode a must-watch. Farrey Movie Review
Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri made her film debut with the recently released ‘Farrey’ helmed by ‘Jamtara’ director Soumendra Padhi. The film is based on the Thai film ‘Chalard Games Goeng (Bad Genius)’. The movie stars Alizeh as Niyati, Sahil Mehta as Akash, Prasanna Bisht as Chhavi, and Zeyn Shaw as Prateek. The plot revolves around Niyati, a brilliant student who was brought up in an orphanage and achieves a scholarship to study at a prestigious school but gets persuaded by her rich friends and gets involved in a cheating conspiracy. Alizeh has given a tremendous performance as a debutant, and the film has received positive reviews from the critics as well.
Orry’s Wild Card Entry in Bigg Boss 17
After the news broke out that Orry would be appearing in Bigg Boss season 17, he himself confirmed his wild card entry in the BB house through social media sharing photos of posing with host Salman Khan. ColorsTV also released a new promo video featuring Orry’s entry with multiple suitcases, surprising Salman as well. Salman also introduced Orry as a wildcard ciontestant in the promo video and joked about how many suitcases Orry was bringing into the Bigg Boss house. Orry is expected to join Bigg Boss 17 as a wild card and will stay in the Bigg Boss house for a few days.
