Breaking News: 16,000 Bangladesh Citizens Living Illegally in Delhi, Govt Issues Orders to Send Them Back

Breaking News: Lakhs of Bangladeshi citizens who have been living illegally in the slums of Delhi's 15 districts for years will have to return home. On the orders of the Home Ministry and LG, Delhi Police has increased its efforts to identify them and return them to Bangladesh. The police, with the assistance of the relevant departments, are working to seize all documents of suspected Bangladeshis who have fraudulently obtained Aadhar Cards and other Indian documents.  

16,000 Illegal Bangladeshi in Delhi

During one month, police from 15 districts compiled a list of 16,000 suspected Bangladeshis. They are being questioned in stages and their paperwork is being reviewed. Police firmly assume that 750 of these individuals are Bangladeshi. They were detected carrying Aadhar and voter cards from Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.
