Business News: Over 11,000 Americans Will Turn 65 Every Year With More Wealth and Divorces

Business News: In 2024, more than 11,000 Americans will turn 65 years old every year. This means around 4.1 million Americans will be turning 65 years old in 2024. According to Wall Street, a large part of 65-year-old Americans in 2024 will be healthy, wealthy, and divorced. The life expectancy of Americans aged 65 in 2024 is 20 years, meaning that they will have to manage their expenses for 20 years. 

Divorce Rate To Increase

In 65 years and above, the divorce rate has now been three times higher than in the 1990s. The main reason for this is longevity. This may not be applicable in a country like India, but in America, after 65 years, there is a life expectancy of 20 years. The United Nations Population Fund India (UNFPA) has collaborated with INI to post a report, called India’s ambetric nature factor. In addition, they also published India’s Aging Population Report 2023, which stated that India’s elder population is growing with our South Asian population by 41%.
