One of the biggest and most renowned fashion events that happens twice a year in India is the FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week 2023. Furthermore, LFW is making a splash once more with some incredible collections from well-known designers like Abirr n Nanki, Mohit Rai, Moses Koul, and many others.

The opening of Lakme Fashion Week 2023 appears to be a star-studded affair as it does every year. Many celebrities graced the exhibition on days 1 and 2 of the event, and many of them ended up being show-stoppers for renowned designers.

Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty Kundra rocks a purple bodysuit with cutouts as she models Limerick by Abirr N’ Nanki. Shilpa Shetty wore a stunning violet crepe body-con jumpsuit and a long shrug from the Song of Valley collection, which featured the designers’ recognisable designs.

Zeenat Aman

Zeenat Aman, a veteran Bollywood icon, stole the show for designer Shahin Mannan’s new collection Circle Fall Winter 2023. Zeenat Aman walked the runway in a bright three-piece ensemble from the designer’s latest collection.

Rakul Preet Singh

Rakul Preet Singh walked the runway for Shruti Sancheti's new collection.

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi wore Itrh’s renowned three-piece golden mermaid costume. She added a high ponytail and grooved to the 80s tune Jimmy Jimmy Aaja Aaja to complete the look.

Sanya Malhotra

On Day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week, Sanya Malhotra stole the show for Aakriti Grover’s label Flirtatious India. Sanya wore a cut-out skirt and dupatta with a saffron-colored bikini blouse. Her comfort walk sparked interest.

Daina Penty

Diana Penty walked the Disha Patil runway in a silver-colored, delicate work blouse and ghagra with a white dupatta, complemented by a diamond necklace with a hanging black stone pendant.

Rashmika Mandana

Rashmika Mandanna stole the show during Lakme Fashion Week for JJ Valaya. The celebrity adopted a contemporary appearance as she walked the runway in a stunning saree.
