Chaitra Navratri 2025: A significant Hindu festival dedicated to worshiping Lord Durga, Chaitra Navratri will commence from 29 March to 7 April. The nine-day festival includes worshiping the nine divine forms of the goddess through an array of rituals including fasting. This year the goddess will arrive on an elephant symbolizing peace and prosperity. 

The Ghatasthapana muhurt for the festival is on 30 March from 6:13 AM to 10:22 AM with the Sarvartha Siddhi, Indra, and Shivvas Yogas in effect. 

The festival is marked by nine days of fasting, observing morning and evening prayer, and concluding the fasting ritual with a kanya puja on either Asthami or Navami.
