Chhattisgarh Elections 2023: BJP has once again dominated the four state elections with a hattrick win in MP, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. Talking about Chattisgarh, elections for 90 seats were held in two phases on November 7 and November 17. The current Indian National Congress (INC) led by chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by former Chief Minister Raman Singh were the two main contenders for power. The BJP received 54 seats, while the Congress received 35. GGP only received one seat. Now the main question arises, who will be appointed as the CM in the state? Will Raman Singh take the post of CM once again?
The CM candidate has not yet been revealed by the party. Raman Singh has served as the state’s chief minister three times. In such a situation, he has a strong claim to the position of Chief Minister. There are, nevertheless, a few more names that are reported to be on the list of becoming CM. In response to the question of whether he would become chief minister, Raman Singh stated that he has never requested anything from the party’s high command and that he fulfills any obligations that are placed upon him.
