Chhaava OTT Release: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna have joined forces for Chhaava, a powerful project under the banner of Maddock Films. Enjoying a record opening day for the movie, Chhaava marks the highest first-day collection for a Vicky Kaushal starrer. The film was released theatrically on 14 February 2025 and is enjoying good reviews from the audience.

Chaava Streaming Platform
As soon as a film is released in theaters, the audience is eagerly waiting for it to hit the digital landscape. But as per the rules, a film with a theatrical release has to complete a mandate period of 42 to 50 days in cinemas before finally streaming on any digital platform.
In the case of Chhaava, the film is set to stream on the global streaming giant, Netflix after its mandate theater run.
Netflix India has announced the date of Chhaava's OTT release on Instagram. the film will be streaming from 11 April 2025. In the caption Netflix wrote, "Aale Raje aale 👑 Witness a tale of courage and glory etched in time 🔥⚔️

About Chhaava
Chhaava is a historical period drama film, based on the life of the brave Maratha warrior the second ruler of the Maratha kingdom, Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the great Chhatrapati Shivaji.
The film adapted from a Marathi novel of the same name by Shivaji Sawant follows the aftermath of the death of Chhatrapati Shivaji with the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb rejoicing at the opportunity to take over his empire. But little did he know that Shivaji had left his son behind to look after his people. The plot is about the clash between Sambhaji and Aurangzeb in the politically vulnerable state of affairs after Shivaji’s death.

Chhaava Cast
The stellar cast of Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Sambhaji, the son of Shivaji, with Rashmika Mandanna essaying the role of his wife Yesubai.
Joining the two in the cast is Akshaye Khanna in the role of Aurangzeb, and Ashutosh Rana, Daina Penty, and Divya Dutta in significant roles.
The film is helmed by Laxman Utekar with Dinesh Vijen’s Maddock Film bankrolling it.
