Controversial YouTubers: From Elvish Yadav to Carryminati, Famous YouTubers Who Made Headlines For Wrong Reasons

Controversial YouTubers: Famous YouTuber Elvish Yadav was arrested by the Noida police for illegally supplying snake venom at rave party held in Noida Sector 51. The detainment of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner has stirred up controversey among his fans and has blotted his fame and fan following that he gained after winning the Salman Khan hosted show. Accroding to reports, six people along with Elvish Yadav, have been arrested for procuring snakes and supplying venom.

Maneka Gandhi’s People for Animals NGO carried out a sting operation in which they asked Elvish Yadav to organise a rave party and obtain Cobra venom. Yadav was arrested in November 2023, along with five other individuals. While this is not the first time that YouTubers have been in controversey, several other famous influencers have been claimed to be misleading public and creating controversey. Let’s know more about them.

The YouTuber was arrested by Noida police after attempting to celebrate his birthday at Noida’s Sector 51 Metro. Apart from that, in 2020, he was suspended by AirAsia for raising concerns about the airline’s safety protocols.

Carryminati aka Ajey Nagar

However, he was previously criticized for his roast video, "YouTube vs. TikTok- The End," which featured TikToker Amir Siddiqui. Additionally, CarryMinati gained notoriety when he uploaded his swear-filled YouTube video, “The Art Of Bad Words.” Minati verbally attacked YouTube, Kunal Kamra, Bollywood, and even Chinese apps, all in retaliation for the streaming service removing his contentious video.

He is well-known for making offensive videos and posting them on his platform, primarily directed at YouTubers from Pakistan and other neighbouring countries. Vikas Fhatak was detained by the Mumbai Police in 2021 for putting on a demonstration in Shivaji Park and calling for the cancellation of student examinations in defiance of Covid regulations.

Rajat Dalal and Rajveer Shisodia

The recent brawl between YouTube fitness influencers Rajat Dalal and Rajveer Singh Shisodia has now involved Haryana police as well. The action was taken in response to their roles in inciting altercations and using foul language on social media. Following rumors of a physical altercation between the two, the controversy gained traction and received a lot of attention on social media. The resentment between Rajat and Rajveer intensified when Rajat made threats against Rajveer in a video that went viral on social media. Both of them continued to exchange bitter remarks for each other online, which eventually escalated into a social media ruckus.
