The outbreak of Coronavirus in China has scared people. There has been a hue and cry everywhere in China for the past few days. Omicron's sub-variant BF.7 (BF.7 Variant) responsible for the increase in corona cases has also been found in India. At the same time, people coming from abroad are also getting corona infected. Keeping this in mind, the Government of India is on alert. Above all, in view of the New Year, the state governments are also giving guidelines to the people to be alert and careful.

Karnataka government issues statement

Recently Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar said that his only mantra to avoid corona is "prepare but not panic". He said, India is still safe because people here have got both the doses of the vaccine. Apart from this, many people in India have come in contact with sub-variants of Omicron, due to which hybrid immunity has developed in people. Sudhakar said, in September the first case of BF.7 variant was registered in Gujarat and even after three months no increase has been seen in the cases of BF.7 variant.

Mock drills in covid hospitals

Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya virtually held a meeting with the Indian Medical Association regarding the status and preparations for corona infection. He said that tomorrow a mock drill will be conducted in all COVID hospitals across the country. Health ministers of all the states will also participate in this at their level.
