Coronavirus Update: CM Yogi issued instructions on increasing concern about Covid-19

The Yogi government has been cautious due to a rise in Coronavirus incidence in various regions of Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi (Yogi Adityanath) has advised all frontline staff, government and private hospitals to be vigilant in light of this. Also, it has been tasked with making the required arrangements for Covid-19 management in each area. Following the discovery of covid-19 cases, testing and sampling will be conducted in the affected areas. Moreover, samples that test positive will be delivered to KGMU Lucknow for genome sequencing.

Increase in the amount of tests being administered

The official reports that there are currently 286 active instances of COVID in Uttar Pradesh, which is 58 fewer than yesterday. There were 74 active Covid patients in the state as of March 18. Corona instances are rising in Ghaziabad as well. Twelve new instances have entered the district on the previous day, according to the data. In the month of March, 116 instances were reported in total. There are now 67 active cases across the districts. 58 patients are receiving home healthcare.

There are 57 active corona cases in Gautam Buddha Nagar, which has recorded the most corona cases in Uttar Pradesh (UP), followed by Ghaziabad (55), Lakhimpur Kheri (44), Lucknow (27), Bijnor (12), Lalitpur (9) and Saharanpur (8). These sensitive districts in the state include Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi.
