Six persons have passed away within this time period concurrently. The number of active cases in the nation has climbed to 25,587 as a result of the registration of these new instances. The states of Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka are home to the majority of corona cases.

Death toll increases

The number of people infected with the corona virus in the nation has now reached 4,47,33,719 with the arrival of 4,435 new cases on Wednesday. In the previous 163 days, these cases were the highest daily total. During the same period, there were 23,091 patients receiving therapy. 4,777 daily instances of covid were reported in the nation on September 25 of last year. The country's death toll increased following the infection-related deaths of four patients in Maharashtra and one patient each in Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Puducherry, and Rajasthan, according to the most recent data made public by the Union Health Ministry at 8 o'clock on Wednesday.
