Virtual Museum of Vedic heritage Portal Launched 

The Narendra Modi government is using technology to preserve the knowledge found in India's historic books and manuscripts for the future, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday. Shah made this statement after unveiling the Kala Vaibhav virtual museum and site for Vedic history, both created by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA). 
 

Himachal Pradesh signs MoU with French Agency 

The State Government of Himachal Pradesh and the French Development Agency, Agence Francaise de Developpment, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a project worth Rs. 817.12 crore to improve drinking water and sanitation facilities in five municipalities (AFD). The project's goal is to improve drinking water supply in the towns of Manali and Palampur as well as construct improved sewerage facilities in five of the state's towns: Manali, Bilaspur, Palampur, Nahan, and Karsog.
 

First Sports University of Uttarakhand to be opened in Haldwani 

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, stated on Thursday that a sports university would be established in Haldwani, a town in the Kumaun area. A number of sports organisations have long called for such a university, according to Dhami, who made the news on the occasion of his government's one-year anniversary.
