Indian railways have launched Gajraj Surakhsha to curb elephant accidents.     

Indian railways have launched an AI-based technology called ‘Gajraj Suraksha’ to curb the rate of elephant accidents caused on the tracks. The technology will use AI algorithms to detect the elephants around the railway tracks to alert the station masters and locomotive pilots of the area. Indian Railways have decided to initiate the technology in parts of West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Assam, Kerala, and Chhattisgarh. 

PM Modi will participate in the COP -28 Summit held in Dubai.     

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the World Climate Action Summit. United Nations Climate Change Conference is organized from 30 January to 13 December in the Expo City of Dubai. 

The 24th edition of the Hornbill Festival will be held in Nagaland. 

Hornbill Festival 2023 has started in the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama. The United States of America, Germany, Columbia, and Assam are participating in the 24th edition of the festival. Hornbill Festival is an annual festival celebrated from 1 to 10 December. 

India International Trade Fair 23 is organised in New Delhi.

The theme for this year of IITF is "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - United by Trade.” Orissa Pavillion has won the title ‘Excellent in Performance’ in the National Pavillion Category. 

PM Modi inaugurated the 1000th Jan Aushadi Kendra, in AIIMS, Deogarh.  

Jan Aushadi Kendra plays a crucial role in public health services. Assam alone has around 182 Jan Aushadi Kendra. This program was launched by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizer.
