DESERT Cyclone, a joint military exercise begins between India and UAE  

A joint Military exercise between India and UAE, ‘DESERT cyclone’ has begun in Mahajan, Rajasthan. The two-week-long exercise will continue till 15 January and have 45 military personnel from each country.  

B.R. Kamboj honored with Swaminathan Award 

The vice-chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University has been honored with the Swaminathan Award. The award recognizes his contribution to the field of agronomy as a scientist and extension specialist. 

General Nagendra Singh took command of the Chetak Corps   

Luitenant General Nagendra Singh has taken command of the Chetak Corps as the 34th General Officer Commanding on January 1, 2024. He is a former student of the Indian Army Academy and was appointed to the Punjab Regiment in 1989.
