Brendon McCullum, who scored a century (158* off 73) against Royal Challengers Bangalore in theIPL game in 2008, is the only other Kolkata Knight Riders batter to reach the century mark in the league. Venkatesh is the second player from that team to achieve so. The left-hander's previous IPL best was a 40-ball 83 against Gujarat Titans last week at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.
