Current Affairs Today April 27, 2023 Video: Quad Summit to World Intellectual Property Day 2023

The presidents of India, Japan, Australia, and the US will meet in Sydney on May 24 for the 2023 Quad presidents' Summit to examine ways to advance stability in the Indo-Pacific region. Additionally, it will be the first trip to Australia for Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014.The third actual Quad Leaders' Summit will take place at this time, and Australia will serve as the event's host for the first time. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made the declaration on Wednesday. The US and Japan hosted the first two Quad meetings. 

 

The objective of World Intellectual Property Day, which is observed on April 26th, is to increase public understanding of how patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs affect our daily lives. The goal of intellectual property (IP) rights is to promote innovation and creativity on a global scale, with an emphasis on the ability of the next generation to develop long-term sustainable solutions. World Intellectual Property Day 2023 theme is focused on Women and IP: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity.
