A massive fire broke out in a footwear factory in Narela Industrial Area on Tuesday morning. 2 people have died in the accident, while many people got burnt. After the information of the accident, 11 fire brigades have been rushed to the spot. The fire broke out on the first and second floors of the factory. At present, the cause of the fire is not known.
Delhi Police has told that the incident of fire took place in a footwear factory in Narela industrial area. Some people are injured in the incident and have been taken to the hospital, all are stable and have minor injuries. Two people have died, they are being identified. This building is located in the E block of the industrial area of Narela. This building is built in an area of three hundred square meters. This factory is in a three storey building. There is a fire on its second and third floors.
It is said that after the fire, there was panic among the people. As soon as the information about the fire was received, 10 fire tenders reached the spot. Efforts are on to control the fire. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. On the spot, the top officials of the administration along with the fire department are engaged in relief and rescue work.
