After this she got the drug test done, in which she was found to be negative. A video of a house party went viral on social media, in which PM Sana Marine was seen celebrating with friends. After this questions were raised whether illegal substances were also consumed during this period.

Sanna Marin’s comment 

After these allegations, Sana Marin, while addressing the press conference, had spoken of giving a drug test in her explanation. He had said, "I have nothing to hide. I have not used drugs and I have no problem getting tested." Last week, a video of Sana Marin partying went viral. In which she could be seen dancing with her friends. After this video went viral, the opposition parties of Finland started attacking him.

Marin takes drug test

Urine samples were taken to test PM Sana Marine's various drugs like cocaine, amphetamines, cannabis, and opioids. It was examined. After the investigation report came, the Special Adviser to the PM said on Monday that the PM's test report has come negative, Al Jazeera has reported.

"Drug tests were taken from Prime Minister Sanna Marin on August 19, 2022, which did not reveal the presence of any drugs," Marin's office said in a statement. "To clear any doubts, I took the drug test today," Marin told reporters at his residence on Friday. The PM admitted to being under the influence of alcohol, however, he denied taking drugs and said that he did not witness the use of drugs by any of the attendees.
