Bollywood Weekly: Three movie trailers were released, evoking emotions of patriotism, romance, and entertainment. Season 8 of Koffee with Karan came to an end with the very unexpected yet eccentric guest, and birthdays made the headliners this week from Bollywood.
Social media sensation Orry and Influencers on the KWK 8 Finale
Orry oka Orahan Awatramani was the final guest in the thirteenth episode of Season 8 of Koffee with Karan, and probably the only guest who left the Koffee host flabbergasted with his replies. Orry had the most entertaining and astounding answers for the controversy king. He shared the map of how he plans to stay relevant on the internet with the help of his ‘minions’ working in the ‘relevance room’. In the newest relevance gimmick, the minions are waiting for a eureka in planning the demise and comeback of Orry like every lead character of any bollywood movie.
The finale episode also held Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt, Sumukhi Suresh, and Danish Sait as members of the jury, to present the Koffee Awards. The jury as Karan Johar remarked made him ‘very stressed’ with their interjections. Calling him the equivalent of Alia saying Shiva in ‘Bhramashtra’ and ‘Sandeep Reddy Vanga 2.0’ the jury was at their best of tongue-in-cheek replies.
‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ Trailer Release
The ‘Sundar’ and ‘Susheel’ Shahid is back with his soft boy avatar with his next release. The movie trailer was released yesterday featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead. From the trailer it seems that the movie is a fresher perspective on the relationship between a human and a robot, portraying the brighter side of a machine-human bond.
The movie is directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah and backed by Jio Cinemas and Maddock Films.
‘Main Atal Hoon’ movie review
Ravi Jadhav’s directorial, featuring Pankaj Tripathi has finally reached its audience in theaters today. The movie is the biopic of the former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was also a poet as well as a statesman. The earliest reviews of the movie are filled with positive and appreciative remarks. The audience is hailing the movie as a ‘must-watch’ whereas the critics' reviews have been mixed. Some find it ‘commendable’ while others feel Tripathi’s portrayal distanced Vajpayee as a regular human being and more of an ‘election poster’.
Shura Khan's birthday bash
Makeup artist and Arbaaz Khan’s wife, Shura Khan celebrated her 31st birthday in the presence of her new family. The husband threw a lavish bash for her and shared a heartwarming birthday wish on his Instagram.
