Helly Shah on her First Break
Helly told us that she got her very first audition from the reference of her father's friend. She auditioned for the particula show, and after doing nearly 25 look tests, the show went to the shelf and later got scrapped. However, she later got a call from the same casting director, but this time, it was for another show. She took the audition and got selected for the lead role in the Star Plus show Gulaal.

On being asked about her first salary that she received from her acting work, she revealed that she would get 300 rupees per show.
Helly Shah on her Bollywood Debut
On being asked about her Bollywood debut, she revealed that she auditioned for multiple projects but nothing didn't work out, else she would have been known for some bollywood projects too. She also revealed that getting into the film industry is not as easy even for the TV artists. She suggests that there is a baias towards the TV actors and she also hinted about the discrimination that TV actors come across in Bollywood.

Helly said that the struggle to get into Bollywood can be real.However, the TV and films are different platforms and the working styles also vary. Even after going through good auditions, the selection is not easy.

Helly Shah admitted that the competition in the TV industry is hard, the competition of new faces is also there. However she also suggested that the production houses tend to cast both the fresh talents as well as the experienced artists.

Helly said that she has dated some people but as of now, she is single.

On being asked about her favourite Bollywood actors, she named Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Vicky Kaushal. Not only this, she also revealed that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had visited her set at the time of Bajiro Mastani’s promotions. The actress truly had a fan moment for the star couple back then.
Helly Shah Expenses
Helly Shah revealed that she does not spend unnecessarily on the expense for maintenance. She prefers to do the needful but does not overspend on her wardrobe, instead of dressing in new outfits every time, she takes pride in repeating her clothes. She doesn't like to do anything and keeps her expenses in limits. However there are expenses all the time and her guilty pleasure is collecting handbags.
