Missing Crown Prince Release: Suho from EXO will be starring as a prince in an upcoming historical drama ‘Missing Crown Prince’ along with Hong Ye Ji. MBN’s Missing Crown Prince faced a postponement from its earlier premiering date. It was previously slated to premiere on March 9, but the fans can finally take a breath of relief as the new dates have been unveiled. The ‘Missing Crown Prince’ is set to be released on 13 April 2024 at 9:40 KST with new episodes dropping every Saturday and Sunday.
Suho is essaying the role of Crown Prince Yi Geon, Hong Ye-Ji will be seen as Choi Myung-yoon, Myung Se-bin as Queen Dowager Min Soo-ryun, Kim Joo-hun essaying the royal physician Choi Sang-rok, with Kim Yun-kyu and Yoo Se-rye.

The historical period drama, said to be a spinoff of MBN’s ‘Bossam: Steal The Fate’ is set in the Joseon period in South Korea. The plot revolves around a succeeding crown prince played by Suho who gets kidnapped by his intended wife. The initial chaos of Korean warfare, plots, and secrets, the flower of love blossoms between Prince Yi-Geon and Hong Ye-Ji as they flee for their lives. The center of the plot remains the missing Crown prince who has a sick worried father, Emperor Hae Jong, behind. Apart from all the plotting and planning that goes staple in most period dramas, ‘Missing Crown Prince’ will also bring out the impossible romance between the leads in whimsical scenes and banterful chemistry.
The drama is written by Kim Ji-soo and Park Chul, and helmed by Kim Jin-man (The Rebel Hong Gil Dong).
