According to Forbes' Real Time Billionaires List, billionaire Gautam Adani is the fourth richest person in the world. Adani has a net worth of $116.3 billion, while Bill Gates has a net worth of $104.7 billion, according to the list. Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries (RIL), is ranked tenth on the list, with a net worth of $90 billion.

Gates is thought to have dropped in the rankings after announcing a $20 billion donation from his fortune to his non-profit organisation. With a net worth of $71 billion, L'Oreal's Francoise Bettencourt Meyers and family are the richest women on the list. She has been ranked 15th.

However, Adani is still trailing Gates in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. According to the list, Adani ranks fifth with a net worth of $111 billion, while Gates ranks fourth with a net worth of $116 billion. Mukesh Ambani is ranked 11th with an estimated net worth of $88.5 billion.
