Google has shown the way out to about 12 thousand of its employees. After that the fired employees have expressed their anger on social media and highlighted the conditions of Google. A sacked Indian employee has said that the retrenchment is not based on performance. In a LinkedIn post, Google India employee Animesh Swain said that the highest rated employees have been fired. There are also such names in the list who were recently honored by giving promotions.

Google India fired 400 employees

Google India has recently laid off more than 400 employees. The layoffs at the company were part of massive job cuts that affected 12,000 employees globally. Denying that the layoffs were haphazard, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai had earlier said he was "deeply sorry" for reducing the workforce. Pichai said in an email to employees that he takes full responsibility for the decisions that got us here.
