Mamata Banerjee in London: Chaos Erupted During West Bengal CM’s Speech in Oxford, This is How She Reacted

Mamata Banerjee in London: Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, came in London on Wednesday to visit the Kellogg College of Oxford University, where she faced criticism. Some students attempted to disrupt Mamata Banerjee’s address during her Thursday speech. Carrying posters, the protesters aired their opinions about college and scams. However, Chief Minister Banerjee controlled the situation and reacted to the protesters.

The Chief Minister was invited to speak at Oxford’s Kellogg College about the social development of women, children, and underprivileged groups of people. She was talking about the Bengal ‘Swasthya Sathi’ and ‘Kanyashree’ schemes. As soon as she began speaking about investment in Bengal, some people stood up with posters in their hands. When the protestors shouted during the Chief Minister’s speech, she attempted to calm them down by providing measured responses.
