Google is apparently testing a ‘animated emoji’ feature in the instant messaging programme ‘Google Messages’. According to Android Police, the feature appears to work exclusively when sending emojis. As a result, sending more than one emoji or a combination of text and emoji will not result in the animation. The animated emoji was discovered in the Google Messages app by Reddit user BruthaBeige. According to the article, this feature is not available to everyone.
Users can only send one emoji at a time. Users are now unable to send emoji with multiple emoji or text. These emoji are accessible via the keyboard. This animation function, however, is only available to a subset of customers. The feature will be available to all Android users in the coming days. Google recently issued a beta version that enabled users to use the badge highlight feature in RCS conversations. The beauty of this feature is that it highlights RCS-enabled chats, making them easy to find.
Google is working on adding speech support to its messaging app. Users will be able to record and transmit messages by speaking with the addition of this capability. This will save time and be extremely beneficial to the users. There has been no news on the launch of this feature as of yet.
