Grammy 2024 Highlights: The 66th Annual Grammy Awards 2024 evening saw various performances and celebrated artists flaunting their peppy and haute couture glam at the gracious Red Carpet premiered before the ceremony. Global artists including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and Billie Eilish performed on the marvelous stage, with Dua Lipa performing the Opening Medley with songs like “Training Season,” “Dance The Night,” and “Houdini.” Hosted by Trevor Noah, the star-studded lineup also featured incredible performances by Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, and Joni Mitchell, who made history with her historic Grammys debut.

India At The Grammys 2024

Apart from Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and other artists who won the Grammys, Indians once again felt proud when musicians Ustad Zakir Hussain, Shankar Mahadevan, Selvaganesh Vinayakram, and Ganesh Rajagopalan fusion band “Shakti” won the Grammys for Best Global Music Album ‘The Moment’, featuring eight songs composed by the talented ensemble of musicians including John McLaughlin (guitar, guitar synth), Zakir Hussain (tabla), Shankar Mahadevan (vocalist), V Selvaganesh (percussionist), and Ganesh Rajagopalan (violinist). In addition, Ustad Zakir Hussain won the second Grammy Award for Best Global Music Performance for the song “Pashto,” along with Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer, and Rakesh Chaurasia. The artists took it to their social media to celebrate the victory.


Grammys 2024 Winner List

Taylor Swift, the pop sensation who has taken the world by storm, created Grammy history by winning her fourth ‘Album of the Year’ award for Midnights. The 34-year-old broke records with her historic win, surpassing music icons like Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and Paul Simon in terms of Grammy wins. Taylor also bagged the Best Pop Vocal Album award. Not only this but during her speech the singer also thrilled fans by announcing that she will be releasing her new studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ on April 19 this year. Apart from this, Miley Cyrus received her first-ever Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for Flowers as well as won Record of the Year.
