The rapper and singer Dharmesh Parmar, who was known as MC Tod Fod, died at a very young age of 24 years.The reason behind his death has not been disclosed yet. MC Tod Fod had done a rap song in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial film Gully Boy. The director Zoya Akhtar and the actors Ranveer Singh and Siddhant Chaturvedi, who were featured in the lead characters in the film Gully Boy, conveyed their tribute to the late rapper on their social media handles.
The director of the film Zoya Akhtar also conveyed tribute to the late rapper MC Tod Fod as she wrote "You have gone way too soon. I can only be grateful our paths crossed. Rest in peace Bantai. #mctodfod." Here is her post:

Zoya Akhtar’s production house, Tiger Baby Films also posted an instagram story to pay tribute to the artist and rapper. The story had MC Tod Fod’s picture with the mic and it read,"In memory of Dharmesh Parmar AKA MC Tod Fod. Our Bantai gone too soon." Ranveer Singh, who played the lead role in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, shared MC Tod Fod’s picture and posted it with a broken hearted emoji. The actor Siddhant Chaturvedi who had played the character of MC Sher, shared a picture of the rapper along with a screenshot of their conversation and wrote down a note, "RIP bhai" with a broken-hearted emoji.
