Gulmarg Fashion Show: CM Omar Abdullah Says His Govt Played No Role In Its Organisation

Gulmarg Fashion Show:  Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has taken the ongoing row over the ‘controversial’ fashion show held in Gulmarg to the J&K assembly on Monday, saying that his government has played no role in organising or promoting the ‘obscene’ show. Responding to the show being held in the holy month of Ramzan, he noted that such a show should not have taken place in any month as it has hurt the local community’s sensitivities. Furthermore, the CM said that the show was organized by a private organiser with no knowledge of the government or its leaders.
