Haldwani News: Curfew and Internet Ban Lifted From Banbhoolpura, Schools To Open Soon

Haldwani News: The curfew imposed following the Banbhulpura uproar was lifted on Saturday. The ban has been lifted in all areas except Banbhulpura since Sunday. Internet service has also started since Saturday night. Aside from that, vehicular traffic in other parts of Haldwani and on the Nainital-Bareilly highway, as well as business establishments, are no longer restricted. 

Internet Ban Lifted

According to the district administration, roadway buses will continue to operate as usual. All buses follow a regular schedule to their destinations. On Thursday, miscreants set fire to every vehicle parked between the police station and Malik's garden, primarily targeting police and journalist vehicles. Assistant Municipal Commissioner Ganesh Bhatt stated that in addition to three bulldozers, two large vehicles, two tractor-trolleys, and two small elephants owned by the corporation, these individuals damaged approximately 20 two-wheelers owned by corporation employees.
