Haldwani News: Mastermind Abdul Malik Arrested From Delhi, Brother of SP Leader Also Involved

Haldwani Violence: According to police sources, Abdul Malik, the mastermind of the Haldwani violence, has been arrested in Delhi. Abdul is also accused of inciting protests against the administration. Police have said that four other accused, Jisan Parves, Javed Siddiqui, Mehboob Alam, and Arshad Ayub, have been arrested and are currently being interrogated. One of the accused is said to be the brother of an SP leader. 

Curfew and Internet Ban Lifted

According to the information, Abdul Malik seized government land in the name of religion and constructed a mosque and a madrasa on it. The miscreants also targeted ordinary people and their vehicles, setting fire to a large number of them. As a result, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami issued an order to shoot the miscreants on sight. So far, six people have been killed in this violence, and over 300 police officers have been seriously injured. On the other hand, the curfew has been lifted throughout the city.
