Health Care: FOMO is prevalent in people because of the constant exposure to so much positive content. Most of us will not put our failures on social media, instead, going out to fancy places, vacations, and frequent trips will be all over our social media, making the viewers think that the person is having the best time of his/her life.
Social media takes you away from reality, or, we can say, your own reality. Secondly, it starts impacting your self-esteem because you’re constantly doing upward comparisons; the more you compare, the feeling of missing out on something increases, unknowingly pushing you into the trap of negative thinking.
