However, the harsh and harmful chemicals in Holi colours may give rise to various skin problems such as itching, rashes, dryness, acne, etc. Here we will be discussing some natural ways to prevent skin rashes caused by Holi colours.
The first and foremost essential remedy is coconut oil, which has been used for centuries to get rid of skin problems. To get rid of rashes, itching and burning problems due to the colours of Holi, you can apply coconut oil on your face. Another simple and classic home remedy is desi ghee. Due to skin rashes, there are possibilities of acne, and applying desi ghee is a perfect remedy to get rid of those bumps. Last but not least, curd also helps to cure the upper layer of the skin that has been exposed to holi colours. Apply 1 to 2 spoons of curd on the skin and wash after 20 minutes. You can also mix curd with besan in a bowl, and make a body ubtan, apply in on your body and wash it with normal water.
