Hop Oxo electric motorcycle launched in India I First Look

Jaipur-based EV start-up company Hop Electric Mobility has launched its first electric bike in the country. Customers can buy this bike through the company's dealership and online. At the same time, the delivery will start from October 1, 2022. The company claims that this bike can cover a distance of up to 150 km in a single charge. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Hop OXO Specifications

The Hop Oxo features a hub motor with peak output of 5.2kW on the standard model and 6.3kW for the Oxo-X variant. However, the continuous power is rated at 3kW for both models. On the standard model, the torque at the wheel is rated at 185 Nm and goes to 200 Nm on the X variant. The motor is paired with a 3.75kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

It is claimed to have a range of 150km in Eco mode, 100km in Power mode and 70km in Sport mode. Hop Electric claims it takes four hours to charge to 80 percent and an hour more for a full charge. The Hop Oxo’s design language is very conservative and like the general crop of commuters on sale. It gets a Yamaha FZ-FI Version 2.0 inspired headlight and gets LED illumination all around. The Hop Oxo gets dynamic regenerative braking, a 5-inch LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity and features like navigation, anti-theft alert, geo-fencing, charging status, ride status via the Neuron mobile application.
