IMD Weather Update today: Heavy rains predicted in North East & Bihar, Delhi to continue witnessing hot waves

IMD Weather Update today: The continuously changing weather pattern in different parts of the country has left the locals confused. In contrast to the plains, which are suffering dry and moisture-laden conditions, the Himalayas continue to receive nonstop rainfall. Now, in a fresh numerous regions of the country are expected to receive heavy rainfall, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The IMD predicts periodic heavy rains for the next two to three days in Sikkim and the northeastern areas of India. Odisha weather update today

Between August 25 and 27, there is a high likelihood of isolated heavy rainfall occurring over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, as well as over Bihar and Odisha on August 25 and 26. Odisha can witness continuous rainfall till August 26. Additionally, lightning-accompanied thunderstorms are possible in districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, etc.

 

Bihar Weather update today

According to IMD, Bihar may witness rain today. An orange rain alert has been issued at one or more sites in the districts of Katihar, Madhepura, Purnia, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj today. There has been a thunder and lightning warning in several areas.

Uttarakhand weather update

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert about heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand today. A yellow alert has been declared for Dehradun, the capital city, along with Nainital, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar. The prediction also suggests that there is a possibility of some relief from these conditions starting tomorrow.

Delhi and NCR weather update today

Delhi can witness cloudy and hazy weather today. Anticipate a minimum temperature of approximately 28 degrees Celsius in New Delhi today, with a potential maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius. The mercury is projected to remain steady at around 29 degrees Celsius throughout the entirety of the day.
