India makes a diplomatic move calling for Immediate de-escalation in Gaza

Gaza Conflict:  India's permanent UN representative Ruchi Kamboj called for immediate de-escalation in Gaza as India is ‘deeply troubled’ by the ongoing conflict in Gaza spanning over 5 months now.  She urged for the liberation of Hostages, refraining from provocative actions, and creating conditions for early peace negotiation. 

India condemns the loss of life 

Kamboj said “The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has led to large-scale loss of civilian lives, especially women and children ....this has also resulted in an alarming humanitarian crisis. This is clearly unacceptable,”

She emphasized the importance of upholding humanitarian principles along with international laws.
